my 2006 TT roadster folding top light keeps flashing even with the top down and locked. when the top is down all the way, the light disappears. anyone experience this issue?

 

Yep, it is the switch in the windshield left side top lock. If you will disengage the top lock and push the top up a couple of inches, the dash light should be on. Put your finger in the lock mechanism and you will feel a flat spring loaded switch; push against it and watch your dash light go out. I believe you can adjust the switches sensitivity by adjusting the rod mechanism hdden under the front cover of the top. Fold the top back and take the screws out of the hard cover to expose the rod. You should be able to adjust the travel of the rod thus putting more pressure on the switch when top is closed.

thanks whitr. i'll check that out when i get home. few nights ago i drove over the train tracks and it must of pushed the top forward, cuz once it it closed the 1/2" crack windows immediately and the blinking top down stopped.
