its weird since i took my car to one of the apr installers to check if i had a chip and they said that there is no chip. i dont think i have diodes either. it is currently holding to 18 psi. im using a green spring with 2 shims. you guys said that normally, 225 should be at 14 or so psi and i have 18?

You might want to check to make sure you are dumping that boost when you are supposed to to ensure you dont damage anything, and double check you are measuring boost at the approriate location. I guess you could also doulbe check which n75 valve you ahve and make sure it is plugged in.

Good point.
Unfortunately too much boost can be harmful. I'm surprised the APR installer you went to didn't do any further checking. Whatever the situation, holding that much boost is unusual.

You are most likely flashed by someone else. Also having the green spring (with or w/o shims) cant harm anything. It is no where near as stiff enough.

Sounds like you are talking about vacuum (in hg) and not psi.
