Default Front suspension going out...?

So I'm having a little bit of a problem with the front suspension on my 02 225 Q Coupe. The front suspension is "Squeaking" when hitting bumps or any kind of elevation change. Even under hard acceleration or braking. After snooping around on here I have discovered that the problem is most attributed to the front sway bar bushings being dried or worn out. My other problem is a "Steering Knock". Whenever turning the wheel ESPECIALLY in low speed operation there is a "Knock" that sound's like it's coming from the rack or possibly the steering linkage. It is kinda of a bad knocking noise considering I can *feel* it in the steering and through the seat. Almost as if something is binding. However I do not notice it or it does not happen over 30 MPH. So I'm going to guess that it only makes the noise when there is a lot of pressure being exerted on to the steering system because of low speed operation. However, I have no decrease in steering responsiveness or difference in the "weight" of the steering.

So with the given information can anyone chime in and tell me what I need to do to inspect this? Such as what I should be looking for/at. Also what parts I could possibly need and where I can acquire them and also any kind of guidance on how to fix the aforementioned problems would be very helpful. Thank you in advance!

a knock... maybe like the springs binding and then popping free? If that sounds like a potential, look at the bearings in the strut towers.

Ya that sounds like a possibility to me. I will have to check that one out as soon I get over being sick. Anyway, The squeaking problem that I was talking about is that most likely going to be my sway bar bushings? If so where can I get some from?

I have a 02 225 also. I stopped the squeaking by removing the stock swaybar bushings and plastic sleeves and replacing them with the purple 19m bushings from ttstuff. They work great.

if you use the stock size bushings, do not remove the noisy plastic sleeve. They will not work.
