Fuel pump upgrade
If I was to upgrade to a better (Im assuming bigger too) fuel pump would that require a change in my chip tuning or can I just put it in and go? Im reading the the 2.0 has a bit of a small fuel pump and upgrading can add some good hp in the low and mid range. But APR is saying that you need their chip to go along with it. Would the GIAC chip I have be good or does it even needed to be added in the chip? Thanks.
APR is saying that the stock pump is low pressure and cant supply enough fuel for modded cars and that their high pressure pump will give the car the fuel it needs compared to the stock one. SO Im guessing they are just trying to sell some BS.?
Maybe a little BS, post a link so i can read it. But if you do need a higher rate fuel pump, a walbro 255lph inline or even a drop in will cost $100 on ebay and supply enough fuel for 500hp.

Here is the link and thanks for the info. Im not sure if the new TT needs a better fuel pump with a chip or not. Theres not much out there right now on the car.
