hey guys..new guy here from NJ..i just got a TT 1.8T FWD and i been thinking about getting upgrades for my car..so far im planning on getting:
-front mount inner cooler
-forge 007 DV
-apr exhaust full catback and downpipe
-neuspeed power pulley kit
-injen cold air intake
-samco hoses for intake and turbo
-EMC-Neuspeed inlet turbo pipe
just going to wait till christmas/beginning of January..but thats beside the point..what i really wanna know is how much HP would dat add to the 180HP that i have right now??..

 

Just guessing here but I would say around 35-40 may be more. I always rate bolt ons as 10 HP you will probably get more out of them though. The DV and hoses wont give you anything. But the rest should help ya out a bit.

 

so would u recommend actually spending the money for the hoses?

 

No chip? That's probably the best bang for the buck.

Chip is defintaley the way to go. As for the hoses if they are bad then I would replace them, or if you want a cool look. Im going to replace mine, but just because they look neat. Its more for asthetics than anything. IMOP

 

im pretty sure i mentioned it in my other post that i was gonna get a EMC...it's this APR chip..ive heard that the APR chip is really good..and wouldn't the hoses have less restrictions for air flow so my TT could breath better..

 

Get those upgrade with a Revo Stage 2 chip and you can be looking at somewhere near 300+ hp keep in mind you will need a new clutch, suspension, brakes as well....

 

did u ever see it dynoed..it is sorta hard to believe that it would give meeh 300+
