So last week i ordered the stupid special tool to tighten the bilstein struts in my car. I also went ahead and ordered new cups for the strut nut just to be safe. I tightened everything to no avail. There is still a gap between the cup and body of the car. Which in turn leads to the knocking i was asking about before. Any ideas?

Also my passanger light keeps going out. I bought 6k hids last summer and just replaced the balast on that side but it still shuts off after hitting bumps. I checked all connectors but nothing seems loose.
