last week i couldn't open trunk or gas cap latch,from inside car or with key,checked fuses,replaced the one for trunk,figured that this would solve both,trunk works but can't get gas cap latch to open,does anyone know if they are on the same fuse,or a different one for the gas cap,and if there's another way to get cap to open.thanks

 

There is a manual pull rope behind the little door thing in the trunk near the gas lid.

Could be another fuse, I'm not sure. It also could be a relay.

Recently my trunk and gas lid didn't work either so using the remote I locked then unlocked the car and it worked again. This is the only time it happened, but I'm sure the ghost will reappear in the future. Maybe it has something to due with the alarm system because once in a while the red lights on the doors will come on and stay on after I start the car. I'm sure it's going out.

 

i just made a thread on this. im pretty sure is a faulty relay. it comes and goes...
