Default Gauges too bright

I added a couple of gauges from Prosports, and they are great, but not dim-able. So, at night they are a bit too bright. Wondering if anyone has ideas for a tinted lens cover, or other thoughts? Prefer not to break into the wiring to add a dimmer circuit.

You could add them to the wiring for the cluster and when you dim the cluster, you dim the gauges.

I was wondering if there might be any peel and stick lens covers with different shades of tinting

You can buy window tinting at most parts stores or even walmart. It's peal and stick. You can also order some laminx online.

There should be info floating around. But you just tap into the dimmer wiring
