I have a 2007 A4 and recently ordered some touch up paint from the Audi dealership. They used my VIN# to order the paint and gave me bright red. the car looks like Missano Red when I compare it to the color catalog from the dealership but the original sticker also says Bright Red on it. Any ideas? I'm hesitant to use the paint until I'm 100% certain.

 

Well, both the VIN# and Stickeridentify it asBright Red.....two rights don't make a wrong. Unless you have a calibrated eyeball when it comes to paint, i would trust the sources.

If you're still in doubt, check the sticker in the rear spare wheel-well, it will have the Audi color identification code on it. At least i still believe it's located in the same place on an '07.

 

good point, they would know better than I what the color is. thanks for the tip, I'll check the trunk just to be sure.

 

LEts hope they didnt screw it up to bad on the VIN they got your car color wrong lets see what othere stuff tehy got wrong
