General Problems?
no like audi a6's are prone to certain defects do tt's have these problems like unusual acceleration,braking,handling,or engine malfunctions.Im looking to buy a tt triptronic when i get my tax return.is the 1.8 a reliable motor?is the 225hp really a big difference in power?is quattro really better?

your nuttier than squirrel turds sleek to bad that doesnt help me and thats why i made this post.i mean take the A6 for example the display fades in and out,bottoms out easily,throttle body problems,these are problems that are experienced by alot but are not really talked about nor are easy to fix are there any tt problems you have experienced that could make me change my mind on buying one?

You obviously have not read through the FAQ... Seeing as they are FREQUENTLY Asked Questions, it's pretty safe to assume that most TTer's run into them.
So... Do you have anymore animal and feces related jokes? Also why doesn't the FAQ help you? I mean hell it just helped me prove you wrong....

Q. Are there any major mechaincal problems with the TT.
A. Not the TT, but rather the 1.8T engine. The timing belt should be changed out around 60k miles. The dealer states that it is good for over 100k miles but the water pump was made with a plastic impeller and my break causing thousands in damage. You can do it yourself or have the dealership do it also. Most members state that it should be done after 60k, as that is where many have started to have problems. Again its just a suggestion, but better to be safe than sorry.
