Again, way overkill. You'll be losing driveability. You really can't 'slip' a clutch like that to get the car rolling, either its disengaged, or its engaged, which means a hard start whether you like it or not.

Do you understand what stage 1, 2, and 3 mean? Call that your 'mild to wild' scale. The higher the number, the less and less its like a daily driver, and more like a race car. A stage 3 clutch can support horsepower 4 times higher than what you're making, but you wont have any way, or reason, to take advantage of that with your car being as stock as it is.

dont read into stages, just look at tq ratings.

Just go to ecs tuning (http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-TT_MKI.../Clutch/ES125/) and grab their stg1 setup. The VR6 setup works great and has held up fine for 20k miles on my car making ~215whp and ~320wtq daily driven. Im running the 14lb flywheel, its takes some adjusting to drive, if you want more stock light feel, they now offer a 20lb fw which i wouldnt mind having now

^^ Agree w/ cincy.. dont go 'stage 1, stage 2', etc... every mfg's opinion of what a 'stage' is is different. You have to go by the actual specs.

Also, remember that the higher the 'stage' the more clamping power the clutch has, and thus the harder the pedal will be to disengage to shift.. ie: your leg will hurt in a daily driver.
