Going crazy over this DCL!!
Alright... after 2 days of searching all over the net and no help from the dealer... im just going to ask someone here. Am i correct to say that the DCL on my 01 Audi TT 1.8T is located at the Drivers Side Kickpanel? Because if so, it isnt a OBDII connector. This one is perfectly square and my scanner wont fit it. Can someone please help? Everything ive read on the net leads me to believe that my car is suppose to have a OBD2 connector. TIA
P.S..... sorry this is my first post! Im really frustrated and the CEL is on and the car started having a rough idle. Without being able to scan, i did the simple checks and when i unplugged the MAF, the idle leveled out so i cleaned it with no change. I replaced and the rough idle went away but something still isnt right.
Thats been my experience which is why im confused as to what im looking at then. Ill try and take a pic in the next few days. Its some kind of port that is about the same size of DCL only its square and located against the kick panel. According to that pic you posted, it appears to be hidden behind the dash panel or something because there is no access panel and it isnt exposed. Thanks for the help.
