Good ol' P1136
Hey guys, i was just wondering, if i were to replace my Front O2 sensor, would that be a hassle?? ive actually never gone on a search for it, but i have a feeling that i have a faulty one.
Now if its a vaccum leak, which i know are sneaky lil things to find, where would be the best place to look first for the possible leak??

I found my leak under the intake manifold at a check valve. Look at all hoses and tubes coming out of the intake manifold. If any of those are split the engine will suck extra air though those at idle.

The 1st sensor is very easy to change. Get yourself an o2 wrench and have at it. I removed the strut bar when I was in there. Don't recall if it makes it easier or not for just the o2 sensor. I was removing the sensor out of my way to get at my downpipe hardware.
Is the first O2 sensor in the same location on the 225q and 180q? i want to change mine too but was just wondering if its going to be a bitch to get out due to being seized in! anyone had any experience?
Also wheres the best place to buy, i hear a lot about 'universal' items over OEM, are they good enough? all advice appreciate!

I picked it up for 5-7 bucks from the local auto parts store. It is just a tall socket with a slit down the side to pass the wire through. It just uses any standard socket wrench. You can reach it from the side of the car on top. With removing the strut brace and the o2 it should literally take you ~10mins.
good stuff!.... do you need to remove the turbo pipes or other fiddly bits? or can it simply be done by taking off the strut brace and then lubing up the o2 sensor?
what sensor to replace it with? anyone got part numbers for the universal ones?

There you go. You may be able to find the o2 sensors someplace cheaper tho (I have never had to buy them before).
The Shly Lamda wrench that is listed at 40 from ECS. I bought some other off brand for quite less. Here is a link to one of those as well.
