Default good pie

I also just got the PIE aud aux adapter to replace my cd changer with a rca left/right in. It was ~60 shipped, and was even easier than side markers to install haha.At least in the roadster, theres just to "single use" plastic retainers holding the rear portion of the trunk liner in, as soon as its popped out, on the left, the 13 pin junction is really obvious, just disconnect and plug it into the adapter, snaked a stereo mini to rca left/right back there and plugged it into mp3/whatever, and switch the head unit to cd, plays great. I havent had time to reassemlbe and make it pretty, but bump for a simple solution.

Just an rca left and right, so one set of inputs. Though I suppose you could just use a splitter, though I think you are right that there is a model with two sets of r&l inputs. Its going to be more of a PIA to install it in the coupe since you cant get to the back of the cd changer as easily. I am not sure if they are made, but I guess I dont see why someone wouldnt just a get a 13 pin splitter and run one to the cd changer as per usual and the other to the aux in. The fidelity is great on the PIE for my needs thoughand there was a conveninet place to mount it, I think it mayve been an empty space where the motor for the automatic top wouldve gone if my roadster had that option. I wouldve liked to've snaked the cable up through the center console area but I didnt see an easy in from the area I was working in.

I have seen one and it was about the same cost as what you paid. I will have to find it again. Think ~$60 is fine for no ipod charge compared to $175 for a ipod connection and second input.

I have had the cd changer out before when i got the car since it didnt work. Wasnt to hard to get to, just took a few mins the first time. Just need to figure out where i want them
