Default Got a new audio setup.

Alright, after doing some reading around the intardnut... I finally decided to go get a new system today. Originally, I was going to get everything included a 10" Sub but am really glad I didn't make that purchase.

So what I came out with was a nice Eclipse deck w/ Sirius (have it activated). The shop wired it directly to my factory BOSE setup and even used the factory amp.

Now, chances are that I misread posts around here, but it seems as though everyone is saying that you have to get a new amp; yadda yadda yadda. Well, if that's the case, I didn't have too. This thing is already bass heavy enough for me. I'm very suprised at the difference.

/end rant

Default RE: Got a new audio setup.

Thats pretty cool to hear. I've had a 10" sub in every vehicle I've ever owned.

I took the last one out of my last vehicle before selling it, and I'm pretty sure I'll ebay it because: 1.) Already limited trunk space and 2.) the factory speakers sound great to me!!

I've never said that about any factory stereo, but this BOSE setup is pretty neat. I listen to all types of music, and loved having a sub that hit me in the chest when the bass drum hit...and while the audi system by no means does that, it sounds good enough that I don't need the sub...maybe i'm growing up
