Default Green top temp. sensor

I just looked and found out i have the black topped sensor, so i justordered the green topped one. Am I even going to notice a change in anything?

not unless your car was having heating problems like in deilryan's thread. But you will help prevent that from happening.

Changing the stock temp. sensor that has been know to be faulty. From the black to green.

it is if you dont know what the colors mean ( black-brown-green ) is normally the sensor marking for each job and green is the coolant/temp/fan switch on the newer cars

no they came w/ a blue version on my 2000 and then went to black. The black ones seem to fail rather quickly so they redesigned it and made it green. The green ones use to be sold for ~$13 from the dealer and now that tons of black ones are failing they hicked the price up to around $30. Kinda sucks dont it?

YEah i just paid $28 shipped from ecs. But thats a small price to pay to save me from all the greif it could cause.
