Grill install
step 1. remove bumper
step 2. release tabs on grille from the back side and remove old grille
step 3. install new grille
step 4. re-install bumper
There are those that say you can remove the old grille without pulling the bumper, but I don't think it would be in reusable condition if you did it that way b/c all the tabs would be broken.

which kinda kills the dollar value if you ever wanna sell it... or reinstall it to sell the car....
Like EVERYTHING else with these cars, it takes a little time to pull the bumper, but it's not hard.

No you won't. I was able to take it out but like I said I did break some of the tabs on the grill. The stock one can still go back on without any trouble just minus a few tabs. There are a ton on there. The bumper isn't that hard to remove as stated though. I have removed mine a few times. The hardest was the first time when I installed my fmic.
Looks like the general opinion is to remove the bumper. I will search for how to do this, time is not an issue, just want to get the new grill installed the safest way.
