I am definitely interested in a set (front and lowers) if the price is right.
Maybe you can save on shipping by ordering a load of mesh and do a few sets if enough people are interested. any idea how heavy this stuff is?

I just got the samples today. I'm glad I didn't go with the larger mesh. The smaller sample is PERFECT! The octagons are a little smaller than the diameter of a pencil. This **** looks really good!

heres what the material looks like. Its perfect. good pattern, durable enough to keep shape, but easy enough to bend into shape. just imagine what it would look like with some black paint/powdercoat after its shaped. this is the material Ive been searching for.

Now I just need people that are interested to pitch in on materials. remember, the sheets come in 8ft by 4ft, so there is plenty of material. probably enough to do 3 or 4 full upper and lower grills.

Would these grills be 'plug and play'? Like it bolts right in?
If so, i'd gladly pitch in!
I just don't wanna get stuck with just a piece of mesh the shape of my grille.

I could probably do your lower grills for you, but you would have to(probably) use the grill from your car as a frame to attach the mesh to. This is more of a project for someone that can do the work themselves.

I don't mind doing some work, really. I'm pretty good with fiberglass and stuff, so.

Can someone post pic of a stock grille that is removed from the car so i can see what the frame looks like?

srry for TJ...

this wouldnt be very hard, just time consuming. It would be cool to have the upper and lower grills match. the bottom grills could be gutted. you could attach the material to the old frames. this mesh would make the character grill look even better.
