Dyno sheets I've seen show an abrupt drop after 5500...which is why everyone shifts there...not to mention 5500 throws you into low 3k rpm's from first to second (at least in the 5spd).

While your 60' times are not bad, they are not good for an AWD car either. What RPM are launching at? It better not be idle. Somebody on here should know the best launch RPM. Put it there, then learn how to best roll into full throttle and roll out of the clutch. Just improving your 60' time alone will get you into the 13's. I'll admit, I don't know much about tuning these cars yet, but somebody chime it, can't you just take it to a shop and have it dyno tuned? If so, the price would be the same as a new chip, and the results would be better as it would max your car with your mods. I bet your car is rich or lean down the track and you are not maximizing your power. And lastly, LEAVE ON THE LAST YELLOW!!!! You R/T's are horrible. You will look .4 seconds faster agianst other cars just by leaving the light on time.

3-3.5k launch

You may claim not know as much about these cars but you sound like you can atleast take it down a track.

NO Calculators cant give you exact numbers, but iv had well over 100 runs at the track and plenty enough to know that i can get a 1.9 60 ft in my mothers 4 door nissan sentra. Get your 60 fts down and youll get the e/t's you are looking for. And the gear differences between a 5 speed and 6 speed are not enough to make up the difference you r looking for ...5 speed 1st being 3.300 6 speed being 3.417. I would spend some time at the track just working on your 60 ft times. JMO

keep in mid that even though your car runs good, it doesnt mean its puting down the power you think it is. the system is so sensitive to sensors and the such that if you have something going bad or not perfect, it will try to correct it and make you loose power. afm, coolant temp, o2, etc.... can affect this even if they work. they might not be functioning 100% correctly.

i agree with precision tt, check all your sensors and your MAF, vag-com your car and see if you get any codes.

I had a bad MAF when I got my car and it ran like ****, I think I ran a 17sec 1/4 mile once(180 quattro, when it was stock) but now I'm in the high 14's with only a chip
