so being that i have the 180 should i get the 4.3 1w zenner diode?

and what else would you say is needed for proper operation and to keep the TT running for a good 100k miles more with having added boost? or would it be a good idea to keep it turned down for normal operation then when i wanna boost it up and just put it back down when im done?

yes 4,3v 1w diode

You car can easily handle the extra boost with normal maintance. The extra presure of a k03 is nothing for this engine. You can leave it at whatever level your comfortable with and leave it at that.
