I just found out that my cluster was bad guess how much??

$900+ yea speacial order, that's the cost after labor. I'm trying to figure out if it had something to do with me trying to get a NAV system installed. Pioneer AVIC N2. If they f@cked up then they shall pay but I have the money....

Local car audio shops suck.

I'm new to the TT + I trusted the local shop to do a good job. I'm very picky on who I let work on my car. I should have just drove 2 1/2 hrs to socal to get it installed. Oh yea my roommate is a handyman but he knows nothing about the monsoon system, he's stubern I tell him I have to get a new amp to install with my NAV system, but NO you shouldn't have to do that he says. (He just doesn't know)

My whole cluster was out EVERYTHING + the LIGHTS, so I had to get it fixed

Good luck to all!!

my fuel gauge is schitzo, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.....thing that stinks is I have not really had the car (2002TT 225hp) long enough to know what my average DTE is.

this morning my lcd screen kinda didnt work. It took forever to change from one screen to the next. But mine was due to the lcd (liquid crystal display) turning into a scd (solid crystal display) in 4* weather. BURRRRR.

I just learned today that I have a bad cluster ( after replacing the temp sensor and the man radiator fan). Does anyone know how hard it is to replace it if I can find the part? The dealer wants over $900. and since the only problem I thought I had was the car overheating ( which it is not...) I can live with that for now.
Also if the car would really over heat would the I get a light warning?
Thanks
