How the hell did you drive around with a cracked head and 3 bent valves? I don't think even an Audi can drive like that The 1.8T motor is a tough little beast so I can't immagine how that happened unless your timing belt took a dump? What did the previous shop do that you blame them for it?

I hope he has a good roof! Hey, exCincy welcome to hurricane season. Fay is coming your way. We've been dealing with her all week. North of us, Central Florida received 26" of rain in one day. Good luck.

The engine parts are strong, its just that if the timing is off any, you will bend valves, also if the tensioner gives a bit, it will do the same.

Fay will be weak by the time it gets here on Sat, be just like a thunder storm

well according to this shop that is working on the car, the shop that first did the work by the way ramsey corp. what they did was when they put my head back on they scracthed the head. from what my new guy explained when you drop the head back on the block you should have 2 people to align the bolts and all that good stuff. so what they did what they rocked the head in and there goes all that the work the machine shop did. also he said they used crappy parts or something because 20k later my timing belt should not have been streched the way it was. i mean i did have alot of problems with them. like i went back there at least 5 times and they had my car for prob a total of 2 months. oh and check this out i got a ticket in the city for parkin while the car was in there shop. lol. yea their the best. by the way they are located in new jersey not new york city.
