I doubt anyone remembers me but i had the 01 180 FWD TT Green on Green back in october. I traded it in ona classic vette, now i got the tt itch again (damn gas prices) I found what i think isa good deal:
2001 Audi TT QUATTRO 225 HP 73,000 miles 6 speed roadster black body black top tan interior 6 cd changer xm radio cold weather package the nicer wheels etc.. drives nice and tight, couple scratchs dealer says they will send it to a body shop to make it "perfect" before i buy. But they dont know if the timing belt has been done or not. I saw a bolt out of a coolant tube bracket by the t-belt so to me thats a decent indication that its been apart by now. Do you all think this is a fair price? how do i know if the t-belts been done? And lastly can i squeeze 30mpg highway out of this (i drive about 100 miles a day highway commuting)

 

pull the timing belt cover off or have the tech at the dealer do it im sure theyd be glad to to sell it what are they asking for the car?

 

Please stop with the changing of texts. THat is way to hard to read. Also you never gave a price on the car. You already know how many mpg a TT should get. Take that and subtract another 1-2mpg due to the awd and fuel when they are used. But yes, you should get ~30mpg

 

Sir, if you commute like this. you will be better off driving a corrolla daily and take out your vette on weekends.

 

sorry forgot the price, my other tt was modded so i really dont know plus the 225 is lower compression engine and higher boost, but 30 sounds right??? price is 12,799 i dont now why that text came out so wierd?

How does the interior, cluster, and all that good stuff look?

 

The mileage will be about what you think. Its a fair price, so get it if you want it.
