If you know where the ECU is I'm not sure what you're asking. The ECU is in front of the windshield just beside the brake resevoir...and the connectors are obviously right there. So you must be asking about something else?

No easy answer to that one. Many of the sensors in the engine go right into the ECU harness, some of the relays wire into it....

You probably need a Bentley with wiring diagrams before you rip into that. You don't know what to test for unless you know what is what.

You could've asked

The ECU connector itself connects to the ECU.

The other wire I mentioned that I snipped is only accessible from the top of the ECU box (behind the ECU).

hahah thanks. I saw a car with the ecu removed in the junkyard today and discovered the answer. now which connector? it says longer connector pin 17. I'm assuming its obvious when i get in there.

I think it will be pretty obvious. There are 2 connectors that hook up to the ECU, and one is longer than the other.

My aftermarket radio doesn't offer that functionality. Otherwise I would have.

My stock radio wasn't all that great... the CD changer would skip any time I went over a bump.
