The fans on my '02 TT only go on at about 105C on the climatronic and work only at full speed. Any ideas on why I don't get the slower speed going? I understand they're supposed to go on at about 95 to 98C and then speed up if that is not enough to cool the engine down. I seem to remember that they used to go on a lot earlier, and that they almost never allowed the car to get to 105C, except in heavy traffic in very hot weather.

 

Very interested in an answer, Im having the same issue. The only way mine come on though is when the defroster is on. I remember mine would come on all the time even after shutting the car off.
