a new sti will do 0-60 in about 4.6, well thats what subaru says. so you must have had one hell of a run to keep up with him.

WRX's and Sti's are overrated... My bro has one and im not impressed... sure they are quick, once you sit inside, on those lovely cloth seats(sarcasm) and everything all plastic and black and what not... you get the point... They really have nothing on a TT... Tuning for them is also pricy. Oh, did i mention that a stock suspension on those things are crap? The AWD is nice though... And of course my bro and i have tested our lovely machines... he beat me..ONCEhaha hes stock though and im not so yea, theres my 2 cents on WRXs/Sti's

 

It was from a roll, We were coming onto a 3 lane road and there was an accord that was in front of both of us, riced to the max.
He took off and got in the far left lane as I got in the middle lane, both going around the accord. He looked over, and didn't
expect to see me at his door, and I heard him floor it, so I got on it, and he couldn't pull away until I shifted into 5th.

I hope no one thinks i'm calling this a kill, or anything like that. I'm just suprised I didn't get embarassed like I thought I would.

 

I'm sorry but when a civic pulls up next to me, like today, all riced out and keeps pulling forward then falling behind me to try to get me to race him I just have to laugh. They can be fast if you dump money into them but so can a tin can. If I were to street race it would be against something that if I did get caught I'd think that it was worth it and not a run of the mill regular POS.

 

I love to race I always race, i wil race any car anytime All was down for a good race

I personally dont like to race my TT, just keep in mind that you are getting maybe on a smaller car (in size compared to a mustang) but you are going UP on status, the Audi TT is a great car, but on my personal opinion I dont think that you can compare a TT with a mustang, not even with acorvette wich are really nice cars but hey, you can start now comparing your TT with cars such as the Porsche Boxter, Bmw Z4, alfa romeo ( Im from Mexico we have Alfas here the spyder is such a beautifull car!!) etc etc, that is what I ment when I said " Going up in Status", so maybe a TT wount have the muscle of the mustang, but im pretty sure that anyone here in this forum thinks that a TT looks more like a exotic car instead of a street racing car, why ruin the look of a TT racing it on the streets, when you can drive it at 30 MPH and let everyone admire your european toy!!! About Hondas!! well... this fast and furious wannabe , sometimes when they try to race me I just think that maybe they need to race their cars to feel better about how ugly they look with all that neon lights and cheap exhaust systems that sound like my granny's vacum machine.

 

I need neons on my Vaccuum machine. Your Granny is a hip, hip lady my friend. :-p

Through the years I have left alot of rubber on the road with my 67 GTO (which I still have) but I didn't buy the TT to drag race with the kids in their little street racers. I bought the TT to put the top down and cruise through mountain canyons on sunny mornings....yada...yada..yada. I know it sounds corny but being in law enforcement I have seen too many innocent people injured or killed by idiots that were street racing without any driving skills at all. You never know who you are racing against (it doesn't matter how skilled you are)and if he kills someone while your racing you are just as guilty as as he is. It takes two.
