jesus thats like 300! really is outrageous for an intake in my honest opinion, and im sure the rest of the guys here will back that up

The K&N gen 1 has around £77 which is around 140-150 dollars which is ok i guess.... I wouldn't want to spend more than £100 on an intake!

are the ones sold in ebay any good? are they second hand or brand new?

If you just want sound, you can save a lot of money and just drill 1.5" holes in the bottom of your airbox.

I have about eight of them, and you definitely hear the turbo now, as well as the DV.

Thanks for the reply but since I am really new to mods and engine architecture in general i prefer not to drill anything

I will probably go for an 'out of the box' kit. Am ok with spending up to £100 for just the sound and possible a few bhp more
