well, i searched high, low, left and right, i even checked under the fat lady's @ss for a DP on the 180 Quattro... and all i got to say is ... GOOD LUCK.

Custom is the only way OR get a diff turbo.

anyways check out their site im not sure how much exactly but i got my Forge TIP for 190 USD shipped to canada a month ago or so.

www.namotorsports.net -- just checked sale is over its 190$ us but i think the shipping is uber cheap for you

also ECS www.ecstuning.com has the APR pipe, seems like its a new thing, they had a sale on it too until about 1st of oct. but that one is 188 $ plus shipping, they had free shipping on it, but ecs has cheap shipping .. but they use dirty UPS .... ewww

ya. i know a shop near my place that would do my custom TTQ DP

http://www.evolutionracewerks.com/

i dont think i'd need a TIP since the 180 TT (not sure if it's specifically ATC engine spec. ) has the cast aluminum TIP? so it's somewhat prone to collapsing.

btw, tCarbon should be on their final stages of their 180 TTQ DP and i know 42DD is in the worksfor one.

all 180's and vw's have the cast piece. The 225's are the only ones without the cast piece

I actually found the mini kit from hightempsilicone on eBay under a different seller. Verocious Motorsports or something like that. It was only a dollar or so more too that the one that I had originally ordered. Hopefully it will work out.
I bought from them, good trans.

My car is engine code ATC. (i thought yours was too, i could be mistaken) the Forge TIP honestly made a diff for me. honestly when you actually compare the OEM to the Silicone TIP, you almost want to laugh, ... how conservative.

Yea, the stock TIP is a POS. I hated swapping it too though. I did the swap in the parking lot @ work. I ended up cutting the old one off. there was some oxidation on the inside where it connected to the piping at the bottom that made it stick to it. Lubed up the new one and it went on like butter.

Hmm... wtf does that mean anyway? "went on like butter"? Who puts on butter?...

oh btw ... what size hoses do we need for our cars if i were to get them seperately. i was looking for some kits on ebay as reffered to on this thread and i found Zilch. maybe some1 can post a few links with kits/measurements (diameter of hose + total length required for each diameter)

also i take it that i have to look at the diagram on the hood of the car and those are my Vacuum lines to replace, or just replace all lines until no more silicone tubing left? (i dont have the bentley manual, but i am getting frustrated at not having it-- does the bentley manual have wiring scematics? if any1 knows)
