i drive a tt guattro 180 hp an i have gotten it up to 137 with my brother rite next to me in his audi a4 and the car handles great at high speed ive raced a many ricers at speeds close to that. i wanna know how fast it will go if u take that govener off anyone know?

hah ya thanks, its funny i just recently sent a porsche boxster into a spin an into a gaurd rail i have pics it was nice lol. the tires were so freaking bald that i was turning hit a wet spot an it went spinning.

Now you know not to drive a car with bald tires too fast. ESPECIALLY one that doesn't have stability management.

 

i was takin the turn at 30 how it spun still makes my head hurt. we basically slide backwards into the rail at like 10mph it was sad an no one was hurt. i HATE porsche.

 

Don't hate Porsche... they didn't sell you the car with bald tires.

The TT, both coupe and roadster is factory governed to 130. The conti tires that come on it are rated to 130, thats why the car is limited to that. Chip it, and the governer is removed. You CAN get a little more out of it than 130 stock, I've done it with my A4, its a big flat ending in a downhill, I hit 130 just as i started the downhill, and it shot up to 135 before the fuel cut out. I've also set my cruise at 125, but after a few minutes of that, you confuse the ABS, and you'll get a ABS light that only turns off once the cars been turned off.

I've yet to get my chipped car over 130, I need a better flowing intake than stock, the car is gasping for air at those high revs.
