Yeah theres a big difference between doing 130mph in my old hatch and 130mph in the TT. You feel like you should have a cage, firesuit and helmet doing that in a little tin can...

The TT feels like it wants to accellerate all day long, and on a good road lends alot of confidence.

My max is 230 km/h thats about 143 mp/h I think thats this car maximum.

 

Not true. i have definately gone 150mph in my TT 225 ( Hey it was on the Alabamabahn past a bunch of cotton fields)

 

Yeah, there is a difference between the 225 and 180.
Also a difference between the 180 quattro and 180 fwd.
I was also talking to an old friend in Ireland who owns a TT and showed him a few pictures.
He said he noticed quite a bit of differences... Guess that's the work of Audi of America though...

I hit the governor at ~133mph on my '00 Quattro. It was incredibly stable. I need to get a chip and remove that damn thing!

 

Yeah, I've gotten Hilde up to around 121 mph and eased back due to the fact thatI smoked the Ford F150 that was trying to race me on a stretch of highway - poor guy had too many factors against him (poor aerodynamics, big oversized tires, lack of gray matter or skillz).... lol...

Gotta push her some day to see what she can do now - premodifications...
