Here is a step by step for the tunerstop style kit. But doesnt seem to require massive rebar hacking that the vw needs. The map needs welded or jb welded on which isnt hard and will be out of site. Meaning you have to remove the bumper to see it. Also you may need to trim the pipe to clear the stress bar, but that again isnt to hard.

Other factors figure in here as well...

More piping under the hood = more area forheat transfer
I'd say the heat is probably more of an issue than the airspace.

Possibly Turbulence?

And for the record...I see no lies. He was pointing out a likely connection between a previous statement and actual results that seem to confirm it.

That isn't lying just because it doesn't work out to your advantage.
Misleading? Possibly, but that's only if he is wrong. Which the results lead me to believe is not the case.

Turbo lag. I have been very happy with my boost factory SMIC. I do not feel any of this turbo lag. If anything my car feels like it spools quicker. I had a boost leak but i found it with my Home Depot pressure tester which i made for 30 dollars. The install was a bitch but heat soak is non existant. The car pulls much better up top and coolent temps are down. I love that I could keep everything stock. Now with my ARP chip and FMIC my car is getting closer to the sports car it should be.

Next custom DownPipe and exhuast.

He found his dv in the stock orentation was leaking and reversed cured his problem.

BF! found that their ic acutally has less of a pressure drop than the stock ic. Thats why you feel what feel. Not bad for having a smic that is as big as some fmics i must say
