Steve I love those wheels man!

Looking good. When is the last time you took your TT out and ripped it around a track a few times?

Thanks Ryan

Last time out was in October at Sears Point aka Infineon in Sonoma, CA. Coming up is Laguna Seca March 1 and 2. I'll try to do a little video clip and post it on YouTube after the event.

I hardly get to drive her much these days. The car is in the garage in Santa Cruz and I am down in San Diego. The place I am renting down here only has a 1 car garage and we decided to bring the Miata down here so my SO has a car when she visits. I've got a company car, so the TT stays in the garage up north. I get to drive it about once a month when I make it home.

Dunlop Wintersport tires! 'nuff said.

Actually, I'll say some more. Get either GOOD all season or winter specific tires. Not all All-Season tires are good. P6s are good all season if you live in Florida--South Florida--but ain't worth crap in any snow.

After you get your car fixed, get good tires. Next time it may be broadside to a telephone pole.

Correct, fortunately no one was injured, unfortunately the accident still happened.
Not much can be done about the past, but hopefully this experience will leave an impression or two on someone else who may be entertaining the idea, or doing the same thing.

Yay!

Just talked to the shop, parts list is as follows:
Bumper including crash bar
Grille
Radiator
Condenser

Not sure of the final cost, because the adjuster has not come out to the shop yet.
Mostly because I'm moving my car to a shop in NY that will pay for the towing, and shave my deductible.
I'm hoping by the end of next week to have her back.

Or to put the stock wheels back on. But hey, you were warned. Be lucky that insurance covered your mistake, they didnt cover mine and it wasnt my mistake.
