Yeah it will be nice not having to pay a deductible! A new euro plate will come eventually; as it's the least of my concerns.
The stock wheels are traveling up with the car, so that is being taken care of as well.

It could have been worse... like hitting the fire hydrant so hard that water started shooting out all over your car and then the water would freeze your car like an ice cube and then you would really be screwed...

 

ive got a freeplate from germanylying around that i dont need if youd like it. sorry to hear about the crash.

A little update for anyone who is interested, and for those who aren't; deal with it!

TT is currently at a shop in NY, under the care of someone who isn't an asshat!
A few more parts had to be ordered like my horn, and some plastic pieces. Those will be in on Monday.
Estimated date of recovery is next Friday! Woot!

Total amount of damage including storage fees, and towing from the shop in NJ comes in at $7,200.
Parts probably cost close to $5,000 of that.



So the moral of this story is just as Audi states... Never follow! ...A plow truck when you're riding on summer tires!


Edit: I forgot to add that all of the dents, dings, and scratches will also be removed. Show room condition FTW!!

I can't find that commercial with the man and woman in the VW. They honked at the vehicle in front of them.
The driver of the car/truck in front didn't think it was them that honked, got out and went to the car behind the VW?
Anyway that's what it reminded me of...

sorry for such a late response to your mishap, i've been wiping @ss alot lately (literally...i'm a nurse so yes literally) and i've only been able to catch up on some reading now.

one thing that really grinds my gears is that i'm here in richmond, va and have been praying for snow all freakin winter and low and behold...texas gets snow!! ugh...what is this world coming to?!
