This is a well out of date reply but it may help someone. Found a local computer repair wiz. He spent 30 mins doing some soldering and (a long -term issue with my car alarm / remote locking aside) I had all my usual car functions back in operation for £20! Would have been £500 - £800 + at Audi and specialist places. Just make sure that aren't trying to changing modules etc. in the CCU (as these have codes that must not be disturbed).

Good luck!

Default Ccm

Hi. Wondering if anyone has any feedback. I bought a 2002 Audi TT convertible with damaged back window. Found out the CCM was damaged - roof didn't work, wind deflector not working. I got a replacement CCM from a non-convertible TT. Wondering if CCMs are interchangeable? Roof and deflector still not working - so Wonderingif non-convertible has much different CCM?. Was able to reprogram door lock but no luck with the other 2 issues. Any help would be appreciated!

I have a water damaged CCM in my 2002 Audi TT Convertible. I bought a used replacement module # 8N8962267A and had it installed. The windows now go all the way up and the trunk and gas lid controls on the console now work, but the key fob cannot be programmed and there may be other issues with the convertible top relays. It is not the correct module for the convertible model, the correct module is #8N7962267A. The "8N89..." module cost around $200, used. The "8N79...." module costs around $800, used.
I have been trying to find someone who can rebuild my damaged module but no luck yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?
