Default i was going to buy tires...

But before i could i got in an accident. I picked up my cousin from the airport at 630AM and spun out. I hit a rail in the passenger front end. The fender will need to be replaced, along with the front clip and maybe hood. The alignment is shot as I had to hold the wheel like I'm making a left turn to go straight. Finally, the thing that makes me think it might get totalled, The engine would not hold rpms. It completely just revs up and down about 1000rpms. I was able to give it light gas and have it run smooth but any more throttle and it surged. No gas, it surged. I got into second gear and that was all i could get to due to the surging. I should be getting a call from progressive today hopefully witth some good news, otherwise I'll have to find a new ride, again...

where you hit it, you probably either bent a charge pipe or broke a connection. Its not very drivable either way. It will be close to being totalled depending on the miles on the car and if you did infact hurt the engine or bent the frame.

that exactly wat I was thinking. I figured the body and suspension would come to around 5/6 grand, value i around 10k from what my ins guy told me. So if the frame is bent or the engine is badly damaged then i'm fuggd. I really like this car but I'm having a horrible year. I wrecked a 94 z28 in march (just took it out too early did the same thing), bought a vette bc i was hoping to move to Miami, didn't move so I sold it and lost my *** (~$5000), and now this. I just hope I break even since I still owe 9600 on it.

"What is Gap insurance? Gap insurance will insure one for the difference between what one would owe on a vehicle and what an insurance company says it's worth. This insurance is a must for someone who is considering purchasing a new vehicle since a new vehicle depreciates right after it is driven off the dealer's lot. "

yeah no i don't have that, i was looking at the estimate online though and it's only up to $5600, I'm guessing if they encounter more issues it'll go up. it says nothing about frame straightening, etc. so I'm hoping it'll be ok. BUT it says it's not expected to be fixed until 1/16, and I go back to work 1/5....
