i got smoked!
i looked at s2000's when i was carshopping, they are very fast, very well-handling, but not practical.
I could just fit my shoe in the trunk, daily driving is a bitch with the harsh ride and the engine that idles at 2000 rpm.
Plus the build quality is nowhere near Audi. (just shut a door on one of them, i thought i broke it before i test drove it)

This isnt right, both the F20 and F22 have 240hp. The F22 has more torque and 8k rpm redline, where the f20 has a 9k rpm redline, but both have 240hp.

The F20 s2k's have 220 and the F22's have 240hp and with a few less lbs and drivetrain loss at highway speeds, you got worked.

i just raced a new honda civic Si literally 5 minutes ago... i smoked it... really, he had an intake... we spoke at the line... it sounded nice but slowly faded in the distance
i heart quattro... an s2000 stock seems like it could be beat with a chip too...

The 225's are much diff then the 180s' ...a chipped 225 should ahve no trouble beating any of those cars. I got my splitter and giac tune a few weeks ago and raced wrx win rx-8 win and 1985 911 porsche lost by1 car to 120 ...thats amid 13 sec car
IMO There are just no good (New) RWD coupes out there.
(Good = sub 3000 Lbs, manual trans, 200+Hp, Not V8)
The only thing that fits inthat category is the Rx-8. They don't thrill me.

Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice?
I liked the S2000 only it felt like being shut in a closet, I couldn't drive one every day like the TT.

BMW Z4 3.0i? (it's right on 3000lbs)

COOL!!! I'm Glad they started making the coupe version of those convertibles while I was sleeping.
I agree the z4 is a decent choice, although I wouldn't drive it.
The sky looks better than the solstice, but I'd rather a mazdaspeed mx-5 if that were the case.
I'd rock the M Coupe though... Even though it looks phallic.

My boys stock s2000 makes 201hp at the back wheels a chip on a tt 225 only makes 180 ish. and he is also 400 pounds lighter.

??? I highly doubt that. I keep right up with andmany times pass the S2000's at the track unless they are heavily modified. This is a road course at PPIR as well were they should have the upperhand. From a dig I have yet to have one take me.
*edit* Looked up some dynos, see several of the people putting down well over 200hp on chip 93+ only on Mustang AWD dynos with their 225s. The chipped 180s are putting down 160-180hp on the FWD dynos.
