Think that is any ecu swap that is not your own. There is immo2 and 3, 2 doesnt need the code and should be in all late 02+ cars. SO there is a chance that the other persons car is a 2 or 3. IF its a 2, its simple.... here is the procedure

if its 3, he needs the code since the vin# is in the ecu. that info here

you are the man !! haha sorry I didn't see that on the site, I always get lost on ross-tech's site. and I also saw another way to tell if its a 2... if there is a small "w" stamped on the key blade its a 2. and a "w3" indicates a immo 3.

both of ours are 2's, wahoo!

so how much of a difference in gains will using the chip software tune being adjusted for water/meth vs just using lemmiwinks? just being able to be rpm specific? i guess i see the benefit there but idk
