Default I need a new SAI pump

Maybe one of you has done the delete, although you probably deleted it because it's busted.

Did the rivet replacement thing already and the thing is just damn dead...need a new one.

PM me before Cincy sees this and moves it if you have one and we can talk about $$$...

A new pump will set you back several hundred dollars.
Seems like a good excuse for a delete.

my plumbing is deleted, but the pump is still chillin on the car. Due to car not running anything close to correctly but not throwing any codes, I may have to start un-modding and start from scratch. If I get it figured out soon, I'll sell ya mine, but I've been working 60hr weeks, and have no decent place to diagnose/work at night, so car progress has been slow lately.

otherwise, +1 for the delete.

Not if you let it warm up properly before you get in and drive it.

I dont believe it should effect the cars afr because it is injecting air in behind the exhaust valves. Helping to warm up the cats faster and "diluting" the exhaust to help with emissions. Not something that effects air going into your engine, or afrs. That my understanding.

LOL...just figured out its the blower motor behind the glove box. The noise only comes on when the AC is on.

I'll see if a good cleaning and greasing will do the trick.

i dunno, thats what im trying to figure out. starting to think the MAP sensor is bad. Revs like anti-lag if you step on it in neutral usually. was screwing around and unplugged both my map and maf the other day, and it revved perfectly. I have 3 diff mafs to try (starting a nice collection), and there was no change, but the oil drenched map... hard to find a replacement just for test purposes and they're $109 new.

I just went out and bought a can of mass air cleaner and a .45 handgun, gonna try it (the maf cleaner) on the map and see if it does better. If it doesnt help, I'm gonna threaten the cars life with the handgun.

back on topic. funny mixup. my blower squeaks a bit in the dead of winter, works well the rest of the year. I usually utilize the 2-55 AC. Thats 2 windows down, 55mph.
