Ideal TT springs/coilovers
Has anyone used the ECS bushings to fix the camber? They are cheaper than the kmac kit, and the ECS half kit says it will correct camber on a car with up to a 1.5 inch drop. If I lowered my car like 1.3 inches do you think that half kit would be enough?
*edit- one more question, I was looking on AWE's site and it mentioned something about "groved struts" on the bilstein sport shocks, what is the benifit of this?

Thanks so much guys. Really great stuff. I thought I had remembered that anything over an inch would need extra parts, but I think I'll keep it at 3/4" as suggested by XCLR8TT for now until I get some more experience under the hood. Would also keep the immediate expense down for the time being.
I can't even imagine a TT being lowered 3 inches!!! Wouldn't it pretty much be dragging the undercarriage shielding along the ground?! Would be interesting to see though, especially watching someone try to get in and out of the seat

I am resurrecting this because I am wondering if the highest setting on on the KONI coilovers would let me correct alignment without going kmac or adjustable arms yet. I was looking at the koni fsd/ eibach spring combo, but I think even for this Id need the arms or kmac? Id like some help here because the coilovers are 1068 and the spring/shock set up is 944. For extra 100 bucks id rather have the coilvers, but not if its going to run another 500 before install and alignment because of the kmac/arms. I am planning on getting a 19mm rear, and what a 22mm to replace my f'd up front one? (The anti sway you can see closest to the windshield) Thank you
I believe you are talking about 2 different things when talking about purchasing a 19mm front sway bar and the "antisway bar closest to the windshield."
The front sway bar you want to buy goes underneath the car and reduces body roll. It also requires quite a bit to install.
The one closest to the windshield is a strut tower bar and keeps the struts from flexing towards one another.

Thanks for clearning me up I ve been looking at too many parts today and they all just started swimming together :-PI do still plan on getting a rear sway, but yes I need to replace those strut tower bushings and get a new bar I believe. Is oem pretty much the only solution for that part?
As far as suspension goes I am leaning towards coilovers without dampening adjustment if I can get away with not using kmac/adjustables by staying at their tallest setting. But then again..the fsd konis+bilstein seem real nice, but their againwould I be dropped too much for the camber and toe andjustments without getting morehardware

Nah but thanks :-) I dont know what set up I want to go with. I wont go more than a 1/2 kmac amount of drop, so I am leaning towards bilstein sport shocks and eibach pro-kit springs(900) or the koni fsd shocks with the same springs (945 with rear sway) and a half kmac(145). (likely dumb question, I just need 1 of the half kmac kit?). Although it would be nice to be able to adjust dampening, I dont have a need to adjust ride heighth.
