Just test driven a 2007 3.2 V6 Quattro. When revving the engine in neutral the engine gives a "shudder" just as you release the pedal. This happens if you give it a light tap or a hard shove. Dealer told me it was OK but i'm not convinced. I'm concerned there is a problem somewhere

Any thoughts ?

I've read this was a common problem with older TT's Are there any other "tell tail" signs of Coil Packs needing replacement ?

If the coil pack needs replacing then i'm assuming the engine is misfiring in some way

 

there were no TT's model year 2007, either an 06 or 08.

 

Thanks Porsche411 Car was registered in 07. I'm guessing it is an 06 model
