Default Injen Cold Air Intake

Hello all,
I am planning on purchasing an air intake see the link Injen Cold Air Intake. Does anyone reccomend this for 01 Quattro 180hp? Also how easy to isntall this? A local shop priced me $150 to install. Any reccomendations?

havn't look into the CAI market for a looong time, but you can definately install a CAI for yourself if you are somewhat mechanically compitent and you dont want to shell out the $150. 150 is still a pretty high price for something that could take that little time for a place with a lift (i think i remember that it was reccomended to remove the drivers side fender well for the installation).

but oh yeah, about the injen, its probably one of the better ones you could get. maybe somebody else with a little more knowledge on the subject can chime in

Id recommend the modshack intake it still keeps low air temperatures and has a really awsome ram air setup with twin tubes running down to the front lower grills.
