Default Intake "flutter" noise ??

Hey Guys,

I have a Evo Motorsports V;Flow intake and it sounds and works great when you mash on the pedal, but one question I have is that I hear a "flutter" noise when I let go of the gas and in between acceleration. Is that just the venturi working or is that not normal?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

your dv valve is more audioable now and if its fluttering instead of one quick release, your dv is on the way out. What are your other mods to make sure?

Grab yourself a new DV that should clear everything up

add more tension to the spring/diaphram. either change to a stifferspring, add washers, tighten the diaphram, pending on which hyperboost you have.

I'm not saying that you hooked it up backwards, but I have heard of people doing that, just make sure you check your hoses.

I have the hyperboost HXc, can you even put stiffer springs in that thing? And I am pretty sure I hooked the thing up right, you really can't hook it up backwards can you, but I will check

If the dv is making rapid spitting sounds the internals need to be tighter. the hx compact is a piston dv. pull the vacuum hose and twist off the top (careful, spring under pressure) and add acouple of washers. This should solve your problem.
