anyone got a preference on intake or filter i get

 

stock air box is pretty good... you could just cut holes in it which some guys have done...

another new "hot" option is a mushroom filter. ive heard only good things about those. good sound, and good look.

 

stock looking and quiter => holes in bottom of the box with k&n drop in
louder intake and dv release => open element intake. Either large k&n or other filter on the maf.

It's cheap, effective, sounds good.

As has been said many times before, if you are looking for more than sound, don't bother with the intake.

I am a believer that there is no noticeable improvement in power from intake mods.

 

You HAVE to get a VTDA from modshack. Most performance upgrade for the dollar!
