Hey All,

Through years of ring wearing, I've managed to beat up the grab bar on my door. Also have managed to ding up a few interior items here and there. Anyone know what kind of coating is used on the different interior parts?

Seems like some kind of latex coating on the center console and climate/radio console and steering column surround. And maybe a vinyl coating on the grab bars and hand brake?

There's a place that does different types of plastic coatings near my house, and thought about spending next weekend wrestling the handles off, sanding them down and getting them coated - maybe even in a nice complimentary color. Anybody try this?

Probably better just to replace the part. Very difficult to match interior texture, leather patching, etc. try www.shokan.com they probably have a piece for you.
