IPOD Installation in the TT Roadster

RE: IPOD Installation in the TT Roadster
I did mine a few months ago using Dension's kit for the TT..it's discontinued in the US now however you can still find kits available on eBay and possibly BestBuy at discount.I never took any pics of the install but it is fairly straight forward...the hardest part was using the special keys to remove the head unit.
Once the head unit was out, it was a matter of hooking up the supplied wire harness adapter and runing the ipod connector hardware out through the bottom of the dash. I didn't even unhook the CD changer likeDension recomends and the system works just fine. The kits that Dension shipped before they were discontinued have the most recent firmware available already installed.
I did a fair amount of ipod install options research prior to deciding on the Dension and even though it's hard to get now, it still seems to me to be the best choice for an easy and quick ipod interface for the TT factory system...
