so my friend just got ITB's on his ae86 and wow. it feels great. and i got jealous sooo... i was wondering if it were possible to mount ITB's on our cars? mmm complete throttle response. sexy.

Individual Throttle Bodies.

Means every cylinder has its own TB.

ITBs = individual throttle bodies

Ohhhh Ok, I new that. No no I didnt. But that sounds pretty interesting. How is it done? Sounds like there would be a lot of tubing.

Forced induction and itb dont really go hand and hand. You can do it, but a good intake manifold that distributes the air evenly is fine.

maybe it's the 1.8T... but ive soon quite a few boosted ITB'd ae86's. ah well..

is anyone here running an aftermarket intake manifold

Nobody on this forum currenty runs anything big enough to warrent an intake manifold currently.
