We'll see how long that lasts. I'm hoping to have new cams, new throttle body(RS4?), Intake manifold, and ported and polished head before thanksgiving.
I guess I'll find out. I'm holding on to all the stock stuff... soif it doesn't work out... then I guess I'm buying a new stock head and switchin back.
lol... don't make me question myself. You doubting that these modifications will run well? If done correctly, I shouldn't digress in reliability and/or running condition should I? lol

wonder how thats gonna run like.

You really should buy the turbo kit first and go from there. Swapping in rods on a stock engine is fine, adding power adders that cost as much as the BT kit and wont help you out until you have it, is nuts. With the BT kit, you will see huge gains and no reliabilty issues, when all the other things may have issues ona stock turbo
Think so? Hmm... Maybe I'll shoot for the suspension then and go straight for BT before thanksgiving and then do the internals in the spring. I'm curious though what type of adverse effects they'd have. dont get me wrong... Im not arguing that they wouldn't ... just curious.
You may slap on a 2871/3071 and love it and not need anymore power. Then if you do, you can then add an intake manifold w/ TB, then if you want more, do cams. This is a safer, more logical process to tuning. I rather see you spend money and make power then making your car so so by adding extra power adders that you may not want/need.
