Well I went tot he dealer today and ordered my new TT. Got to test drive a 3.2 2008 demo they had and it was nice. the new TT is sharp.

Here is my new TT which I will get by the end of Jun:
2.0T S Tronic FWD
Black outside/Limestone gray inside
Premium package-heated seats, homelink, power seats, steering wheel with shift padels, upgrded 6 disc stereo


The new seats are awesome, you sit a little lower but they really conform to the body now and feel great. They now have 3 vents on the console which is cantered towards the driver. The dealer got to drive a new TT on the tracks and says it really grips the road now, even the FWD, which is what he drove and thats without the magnetic suspension. Plus a 0-60 of 6.1 is alot better than the old stock TT, so Im kinda excited about it. With a GIAC chip and new exhaust and I will be at 250 hp and below 6.0. The new TT has several changes that only a TT owner would see like it being a little taller and wider and longer. The roof is moved back about 4 inches which I think looks better. I had the new TT next to mine and could see the changes and really thought they were better. Like the way the front looks too.

Oh a note on the price, right now they are only doing pre orders so they dont work too much on the price but base model with the premium package was $36,500.

Yea Im excited about it. Im only going to get it chipped, new Borla full exhaust (with downpipe if possible), and a CAI. Ive done the mod bug and it was fun but this car is going to have to last for a long time so I will keep it pretty simple this time. Now I just have to sell my current TT.

I will take alot of pics of it when I get it. Here is a pic from the book aI got at the dealer. And some stats: 207 torque between 1800 - 5000 rpm. Nice and steady the whole time. 200 hp between 5100 - 6000 rpm.

OK Im trying to figure the pic thing out.

 

Were they smart enough to put a boostgauge in a turbo car this time, even my 2000 saab 95 2.3t has one but not my TT

 

No I said the same thing with the extra vent they should have put a guage for the turbo cars. But I will put one in the vent when I do the chip. Im also going to get the windows tinted as dark as I can for this state so the windows and body will blend together.
