Only one issue I have all leather no alcantra which I wish I had. Do u think this will still work given only leather b/c there is no bass and I want bass. BTW the ipod doesn't charge. I posted this question to a shop which does ipod aftermarket and they gave me a link to a mechanism that will charge and play but still no song,title etc to b shown. She said they're working on it at this time. So anything new I'll fill u in.

 

read the link if you can it has nothing to do with what you have ....the post is about if the coding has been set for leather than the bass is set lower and if you recode to material it boosts bass.......the link talks about it. Yeah my oem one does charge my Iphone.

 

just received a ipod charger that goes between the ipod and the input. Very small not sure if yours charges but mine doesn't let me know if your interested. Cost less than $40 so cheap. Here is the link to the site: http://www.icarkits.com/

 

did u find the link to do the VAG upgrade for better bass. Now that's I'm getting more comforable w/ the Audi I do hear almost no bass so that link would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
