Anyone have this kit? What kind of increase will I get?

I just installed a K&N 57-0479 Intake Kit for my TT 225 a couple of days ago. The sound is great and the car responds a lot better in low and mid range revs. I think I gained around 3-5bhp in the mid revs (well it feels like it, I am pretty sure I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if it was 1 bhp). Still I wasn't going that much for the gain as for the sound and I am pretty happy with it!!!

 

So is this kit worth it at all?

 

are you serious? you can feel the difference between 200 and 203 horse power?

I will go with Wintermute... for the price given it definitely worths it. Sound and looks are great too... be warned though that the gain in bhp is minimal... (I am pretty sure you already knew that!!!)

 

I can see the difference between of 3-5 bhp in low revs since the turbo picks up faster!!! Even though to tell the truth at low revs you are nowhere close the 225 that the car produces at 5700 revs. So the gain is not from 225 to 230!!!
